Welcome to Oak & Iron Rustic Designs. My name is Vic Thompson. Our mission is to produce high quality low volume handmade wood and metal (coming soon) craft products for display or use in your home or business. Our focus is on laser engraved wood craft items made from quality hardwoods and live edge wood. Details are provided with each group of
items for sale.
My wife Linda is a huge part of the creative design aspect and we hope you enjoy looking through our designs and will find something you like. We are always looking for new ideas and will make to order specialty items with a variety of options from images, photos, memories, something to advertise your business or for a special event. Shop Collections
Do you prefer to decorate your home with quality made personalized pieces from home grown crafters that are made to last and are reasonably priced? We certainly do. After spending a career in manufacturing I pride myself in only making a product that meets my own high standards and that I would be proud to display in my own home. I make one piece at a time and if we don't like it I start over until we do (Linda is very picky!). NOW LET'S GO SHOPPING!

Lazy Susans
Our Lazy Susans are made from edge glued pine with an early american stain and semi-gloss polyurethane finish. They measure 1" thick and come in either 15" or 18" diameter. Current available designs are shown but special orders are available from the Made to Order section.
Serving Boards
Our Serving Boards are made from a variety of hardwoods, typically Red Oak and left natural with a semi-gloss polyurethane finish. They measure 3/4" thick X 11" wide X 18" long and feature decorative rustic handles and non-skid pads. Current available designs are shown but special orders are available from the Made to Order section.
Charcuterie Boards
Our Charcuterie Boards are made from a variety of premium hardwoods. The engraving can be left raw and the wood natural with a polyurethane finish or the engraving filled with epoxy resin for a smooth finish and coated with food grade butcher block oil and conditioner. They measure 3/4" thick X 7" wide X 22" long and feature decorative rustic handles and non-skid pads Current available designs are shown but special orders available from the Made to Order section.
Bread Boards
Our Bread Boards are made from a variety of premium hardwoods. The engraving can be left raw and the wood natural with a polyurethane finish or the engraving filled with epoxy resin for a smooth finish and coated with food grade butcher block oil and conditioner. measurements vary by style and they feature decorative rustic handles and leather hangers. Live Edge
Our Live Edge products are made from a wide variety of live
edge hardwoods sourced from other local crafters. As a result, each piece is unique based on the availability of materials and
each piece is a 1 of 1 with no duplicates. I can duplicate the image but the piece it is on will be different. Current available designs are shown but special orders are available from the Made to Order section.

We are always looking for new ideas and items to make. This section provides an opportunity for you to input your creativity for something special to you from a family recipe or a special poem, a child's school writing or a special photograph, a business logo or a team plaque. I have taken images from e-mails, texts, scanned photos and old worn recipe cards. The images need to be pretty clear and with photos or drawings some colors do not transfer well.
